Tesla’s New “Balance Bike for Kids” Is a Futuristic Balance Bike for Kids

Tesla has released the “Balance Bike for Kids,” a balance bike that brings Tesla styling to a non-electric two-wheeled design for kids.

The self-described “futuristic design,” presumably inspired by Elon Musk’s extensive history as a father, leans more Cybertruck than Roadster. It features a lightweight magnesium frame, an adjustable seat, and a two-spoke wheel.

To cap it off, the “Balance Bike for Kids” also has the Tesla “T” logo headbadge and the Tesla logo plastered on the broad, Cybertruck-looking flank of the frame—that way no one mistakes it for a different balance bike for kids.

The seat introduces an innovative design with an integrated wedge design that runs on a rail, adjusting the seat height and effective top tube to accommodate a fairly broad range of heights. It is designed for 2-5-year-olds. The minimum leg length of a rider is 13.7 inches, and the recommended weight limit is 66.1 pounds.

While the bike is, as noted in the name, a balance bike, for kids, it’s painfully lacking the quintessential Tesla autopilot feature and ludicrous levels of electrically powered acceleration. That being said, there is a “Kids Pedal Power” tee to go with the bike, even if the bike notably does not have pedals.
