Factor’s New TT Bike is Actually Just an Aero Road Bike

Today Factor introduced the Factor ONE SP as a variation of the Factor ONE. The new product is really just an expansion of the existing Factor ONE and it follows the pattern that’s beginning to appear throughout the Factor model lineup with a wide to narrow funnel of product options.

The new bike takes the brand’s aero road frame and integrates a purpose-built time trial and triathlon cockpit called the ONE SP Bar. In terms of differences between the road-focused ONE, this is it. The bar is a high-modulus carbon fiber front end that bolts directly to the fork head using a four-bolt interface to create a rigid connection. While the extensions let you dial in your reach, width, and rotation, you can also tune your height with 10 mm of stack at the bar attachment plus as much as 35mm of extra stack through 5mm spacers. Beyond the front-end change, the underlying frame remains exactly the same with 405mm chainstays and room for 34mm tires.

This is a strategy that works particularly well with bayonet mount frames, due to the lack of a traditional steerer tube, and something you can take advantage of in the Stromm Raktt as well. With the Factor ONE it makes even a bit more sense than with other bikes because the ONE is already verging on a TT bike in road form. Part of what makes the ONE stand out is the progressive aero geometry that lengthens the top tube and uses a zero-setback seatpost (if that’s your preference). Now it’s simply been combined with a new cockpit setup and Factor is positioning the bike as an option when there’s desire for a bit more road bike flexibility.

That makes the ONE SP an option for complex courses rather than a dedicated straight-line time trial bike. As an example of this position, Factor states that the new configuration was raced in the 2026 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift time trial which included a 1.8km climb at 6.9% gradient and the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Nice with approximately 1,200 meters of climbing alongside technical descents.

Pricing and availability

The Factor ONE SP is available starting today from Factor dealers across the world. As with the road bike there are sizes ranging from 47 to 58 cm across four colorways: Chrome, Onyx Black, Nimbus Grey, and Silverstone. A premium frameset package is priced at $7,399, while complete builds cap at $13,399 for a SRAM RED configuration with a power meter and Black Inc 62 wheels. For riders who already own a Factor ONE, the ONE SP Bar can be purchased separately for $1,399. Weight is not provided, however a Factor One built with SRAM RED and the Black Inc 62 wheels comes in at 7.57 kg (16.7 lbs) so expect a few more grams than that but likely a lower weight than TT specific bikes.
